The Cross Timbers Fine Arts Council, where my internship is at, thought a night of fun with Johnny Lee & the Urban Cowboy Band was the best way to celebrate Rodeo Heritage Week. This was a free event for anyone to enjoy Urban Cowboy Band and one of the many ways that Cross Timbers Fine Arts Council did to Adversities this event was use our Facebook page to hold an Urban Cowboy movie trivia questions with little prizes for the winner to receive and the event. Another was by creating an event on Facebook and where we had over 1,500 people pledge their attendance.
Cross Timbers Fine Arts Council told people to Dust off their best Bud and Sissy costumes for the look-a-like contest. Enjoy the food trucks and walking through Gilley's Parking lot. For the sponsor that bought a table Cross Timbers Fine Arts Council gave them V.I.P. access and served them Reynoldo’s fajitas.
Which also included a basket with Cross Timbers Fine Arts Council information, Paint the town fee waivers, Door Prizes, custom Urban Cowboy Night Shirts, Bud & Sissy look-a-like contest fee waiver and Cross Timbers Fine Arts Council Ragin' Cajun event information; plus, a bunch of little goodies like cookies and candy.
Cross Timbers Fine Arts Council also had a mechanical bull for the children to ride.
