As part of my department duties, I was in charge of implementing local, regional, and national marking initiatives for the store. Overall, I was in charge of placing posters, signs and banners inside and outside of the store. Updating menu boards and pricing. Each month I would check in marketing materials as they were shipped to the store, and place them according to the marketing guide provided by corporate. I was able to learn fundamentals of marketing as well as learn how marketing initiatives and campaigns come together full circle. I was able to see how marketing works in terms of consumer behavior even at our store level. I also had the ability to choose which signs to market based on local demographics and sales research.
