I served as a residential leader for upper class-man my sophomore year of college. This experience taught me so much. I learned and grew throughout the coarse of the experience and did my best to bring my residents along on the journey. I helped my residents with any questions they had through the year, helped to console when they were having troubles in life, organized community building events and dinners where the hall could come together, and more. I was there for them anytime of the day or night they needed me. At the end of the year I received the MVP award. They asked me if I could return and serve as an RL again even though I was not applying. For the sake of my health, I made the decision to take a step back from it and focus on other aspects of life.
