The basis behind this project is to convince land owners converting coastal Bermuda grass into native prairie is beneficial to not only quail and other birds, but also themselves as the land can be leased for hunting purposes once developed into prairie. Specifically, my portion of the project was looking at Crustacea and Arachnida, and what the diversity of those arthropods looked like following different land treatments.
This poster was entered and presented in the student section of the Southwestern Branch of the Entomological Society of America's annual conference, March 27th, 2018, Albuquerque, New Mexico.
