In the Fall of 2018 both Cohort 2 & 3 read Crucial Conversations together during family time. Attached is the cover of the book and one assignment that was completed during the time I read this book. This book influenced me as a young professional by providing me with scenarios and tools that I will need to have crucial conversations with future colleagues, coaches, parents and others. This book emphasized the importance of having conversations that may be difficult to have and how to handle them. I learned that it is just as important to listen as it is to talk in a conversation, always try to understand the other person, and you may not have to agree with everyone but you still need to respect their opinions.
