I completed my Summer Internship at Texas Health Harris Methodist Stephenville. Followed two dietitians to learn about diet management, calculating needs for patients, and learning the electronic patient charts. I was also allowed to go to many professional meetings for safety, pharmaceutical and therapeutic drug policy reviews, and briefings for patients. Overall, I gained the knowledge of what occurs in the hospital setting for a dietitian. I am proud to say I know what I want to do for my future career; become a clinical dietitian.
