The Magic Yarn Project strengthened my commitment to the community and by gaining valuable leadership skills. Such as when to be a leader and when to be a follower. Teamwork and show support for my fellow students. I learned that it is okay to ask for assistance and support which I will give to patients in the future as a nurse.
One of the challenges I faced was learning to weave the yarn on to the beanie to make the long hair. I found it stressful, making sure each strain was where it was supposed to be and the correct number of strains. But with support from my fellow students and instructors, I gain confidence and completed my wig.
